FIRE SAFETY

Fire safety tips to be aware of.

* Always supervise children around any heat source.

* Children should never play with extinguishers.

* If a fire alarm rings, leave the hotel by the nearest stairs or fire exit, but before opening the door feel for heat and check for smoke. If there is heat or smoke, look for another exit.

* Keep all candles, matches and lighters away from children.

* Never dry clothing on heaters or a fireplace/woodstove

* Teach children how to Stop, Drop and Roll.

* Teach children to be careful around barbecues.

* Teach children to stay away from fire pits and campfires. Be careful when roasting marshmellows and hotdogs that clothes do not come into contact with fire.

* Teach children to stay away from woodstoves, fireplaces, and all heat sources.
